The Bastard Zine Collection is solely cared for by our two curators. We also are responsible for any research projects, exhibitions, or workshops, as well as maintaining our site and Instagram.

Lisa first came up with the idea to study the real people of New York, beneath the million-dollar art scene.
Her background is in history, with emphasis on study of totalitarian societies and the way the people respond to them. Her art historical area of focus is on Early Modern Print. She sees the zine collection as a combination of the two.
